The software was originally designed to handle plug-ins for image processing tools, image analysis, etc. It can be customized; customers can either do it themselves or employ a third-party developer..

For customers and developers, a C++ SDK (Software Development Kit) is provided. With the SDK it is possible to:

  • Control the equipment (lighting, optical unit, holder);

  • Extend the existing algorithms for image processing and video sequences (RAW conversion, HDR Tone Mapping, Focus Stacking, etc.) and add new video processing algorithms;

  • Extend and add tools for measurement and image analysis;

  • Customize and extend the user interface (based on the Qt Digia library);

  • Extend and add export/import file formats.
