OctoNus 3DDM makes possible unrivalled 2D and 3D real-time measurements within the live stereo streams. The user interface is created on the basis of augmented reality technology. 3D measurement of lengths can be made with a precision up to ten micrometers. The unique feature is the possibility of real-time measurements in 3D space without constructing a model of the surface shape, which is important for complex objects. The combined 2D/3D mode provides measurement and control both in the 3D space and within a projection plane.
