OctoNus Finland Oy (“OctoNus”) respects your Privacy. OctoNus provides privacy policy to inform you about our privacy practices with respect to the collection and use of information that we collect about you, including any information that might personally identify you (e.g., your name, email address, youtube channel name, timezone of user location), through our Digital Microscope application. By using our Digital Microscope application’s YouTube uploader feature, you agree that your information, including your personal information, will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not use Digital Microscope application’s YouTube uploader feature.
This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect about you when you use Digital Microscope application’s YouTube uploader feature (collectively, our “Services and Applications”).

2. General Information.
Our legitimate interests are to provide our Services and Applications in an effective, safe and harmless manner. We want to provide everyone with a fair and balanced experience when using our Services and Applications.
In order to upload videos to YouTube created with Digital Microscope software from the application itself you need to login to your Google or YouTube account. The Digital Microscope application uses your YouTube channel name to show you a link to your YouTube studio page.
2.1. Information security.
We and our employees understand the need for user privacy, and we maintain reasonable and appropriate security procedures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into due account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the Personal Data.
The Digital Microscope application does not store or operate your password directly. The Digital Microscope application only uses a special security token from Google. This special security token is cached in Windows 10 credentials manager under DMYouTube name. This token can be deleted from the Digital Microscope application using the Logout button, or using Windows Credentials manager. To invalidate this token at any time, modify the apps with access to your account on the Google Account Permissions page.

3. Information we collect about you.
We do not send your personal information to our servers.
4. Our use of your information.
The Digital Microscope application uses your YouTube channel name to show you a link to your YouTube studio page.
The Digital Microscope application uses security tokens obtained from Google servers after your login to upload video to your YouTube channel.
5. Sharing your information.
Personal information is not shared with third parties unless agreed upon with the user. We will not disclose your personal information with non-affiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We will, however, share your information, including personal information, to assist us in providing our Services and Applications to you and with the persons and for the purposes described below.
6. Children privacy.
OctoNus does not knowingly collect or use any Personal Data directly from children (individuals who are at under 16 years old) on OctoNus Services and Applications. We do not knowingly allow children to communicate with us, or to use any of our online services. If you are a parent and become aware that your child has provided us with information, please contact us using one of the methods specified below, and we will work with you to address this issue.
7. We can change this policy.
OctoNus reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy as it deems appropriate from time to time. You may find the most current version of the Privacy Policy by visiting the cutwise.com website.
